Was I off my trolley ...

...to buy so much flat-pack furniture?!

It's amazing what you can buy in an hour at Ikea - this was fairly restrained for me: just 2 bookcases, a CD tower, 4 dining chairs, a flatpacked armchair, footstool, big plant and planter and two wooden salad bowls.

The most I ever bought in one go included 4 wardrobes and a fully-upholstered armchair. Needless to say it didn't all fit in the car... I spent longer returning the armchair than I had collecting and paying for everything...
