The Master and his Masterpiece

This is the reason for my being away from home!
Three days of seminar/workshop with, can you believe it, SASHA RIESS!!! Yes, he did indeed come and visit little New Zealand to wow us with his magic. And it's not just the grooming that's amazing, his lectures are nailbitingly exciting!
Here he is pictured with his model on which he demonstrated how to insert 'switches' (green ones to show the technique best) and his interpretation of a classy poodle cut. On the right is Sheila, the owner of said model and godmother of all grooming in NZ. She is also the one who bred this stunning dog. She's been breeding Poodles for many, many years and the quality of the dogs is absolutely stunning. Sasha was totally in love with this dog, with comments like 'he's got a body to die for' and 'grooming him is like the best sex ever' (no, I'm not making this up, he's a very lovely, funny man).
Either way, you can see how both of them are equally happy with the lil' fella.
In total, some very exciting, exhausting days :)
