That's Hull in a nutshell that is. Twin icons of the city down at the station. Nipped into town at lunchtime to buy my train ticket for tomorrow. Day return to Leeds for what is being billed as The Grandest of Grand Departs. Can't wait.

In other news, the last member of the family arrived from Scotland in the afternoon and we went and had a nice alfresco pint in a pub by the river in the sun overlooking the Humber Bridge and the foreshore. Rather pleasant.
