What Time Does Edinburgh's One O'clock Gun Fire?
Out of all the billions of castles that overlook the west end of Edinburgh's Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle is my favourite.
Ever since this amazing building magically appeared on the night of the 6th August 1973, the people of Edinburgh have celebrated its glory by sacrificing a Fifer every day at 1 0'clock, when, from the castle itself, a large explosive artillery shell is fired at Inverkeithing.
