Leaving Roses

These roses are part of a bouquet given to me at the Farewell party yesterday. I did ask not to be given flowers as I won't be here to appreciate them. So I thought I would take a few photographs before I have to put them on the compost heap.

My kindle Fire is once again used as a prop taking advantage of it's reflective properties.

Now I must pack a suitcase as the passport arrived this morning! A little tight to the deadline for comfort to say the least, but it is here in pristine condition. So I can now put all the relevant information into the BA website and check-in tomorrow. I always find it a bit odd that I can check in when I am actually nowhere near the airport.

Final day tomorrow - Speech Day, Swimming Gala and then down to Gatwick for an overnight stay ready for an early flight. My daughter is taking me down to the airport and we will have dinner together at the hotel and catch up on the week. My husband and son are at Silverstone this weekend for the Grand Prix and will join me in Spain on Monday.
