It's all in the eyes

I saw this small dragonfly on my Geraniums out side the front door and thought how wonderful the eyes were.

I have had a lot of trouble with Stanley today
He caught a baby Blackbird that I managed to get from him, and it flew away :-)

Then all the baby Swallows tried to fly out of the garage through the greenhouse but they hit the windows and fell to the floor.
STANLEY WAS RIGHT IN THERE.
but I got him out of the way.
and one by one I picked up the baby and put it back into the garage where they were safe, the last one I picked up I admit I did give it a kiss on the soft little head saying I love you all. Mwah!
