This old guitar

This old guitar is a 1939 Harmony Patrician. It's an arch top hollowbody guitar with "f" holes and a trapeze bridge. I found it at a garage sale for $50. and thought I had hit the lotto. That night I did some research and found out that Harmony built several hundred thousand of these guitars as kind of a poor-mans Gibson style jazz guitar. Had it been a Gibson, it would have been worth quite a bit. This guitar, however, is worth about $500. Still, a great looking guitar. The bear and the globe in the picture are subjects for another Blip day.
