An irritant

This annoying hole, and its partner on the other side, have dominated my day. Well, the taking of the car to get an estimate (£636.02!!!!), reporting it to the police and making a claim with the insurance company. And there will still need to be time given over next week some time to taking it to have the actual repairs. And all for an entirely unnecessary part on our stupidly over-engineered car. They are daytime driving lamps - yes, that's right, lamps for making sure people can see my enormous black car in daylight. How did the designer get that one through any single meeting without people shouting I can see the Emperor's thingie??!!

But what I would like to propose to any potential thieves out there is a more efficient system....next time you want to take my lamps please knock on the door beforehand and we can do a deal that will save you the hassle of having to find a buyer and me having to take a day from work and going for a swim and other more worthwhile pursuits.
