Waterloo Station
I had a work-related trip to Teddington this afternoon.
Returning via Waterloo station, which I don't use very often, I was struck by just how different it is architecturally from the other London termini. Instead of graceful arches, its immense roof expanse spreads horizontally as far as the eye can see, almost like an industrial scale greenhouse.
