Lift Off

Clouds are moving in.

I've been told by others that it rained two nights ago - but I didn't hear it (I'm a sound sleeper) - so it doesn't count to me as the start of the monsoon. It rained in Tucson yesterday, too. Still waiting for it here. A big thunder boomer rain! That's how I want the monsoon to start.

I bet my mom a nickel that the monsoon (aka the thunderstorm season) would start on the fourth of July. Well, dang it, that's today!

I hope these clouds turn into something special. Just for an hour. Then the sun can come out.
