The Falls of Almond

Despite the rather dreich weather today was a great day, first day back on the bike for a half decent run all the way out to Linlithgow and back...return journey saw three of us opt for an afternoon coffee stop down at Cramond...and this shot was taken as we negotiated our way across ice and mud and up stairs and down ('the ladders') - carrying bikes- by the banks of the River Almond as it flows, full of snow meltwater, out to the Forth at Cramond.I like the shades of green and brown and cream in the falling water and the linear effect the speed of movement creates here...
