Beavering around

A horrible wet rainy day so time to catch up with the housework. Luckily by 6pm the sky had cleared and the sun came out.

Still no blip pal around so I set with OH and littlest son to look for beaver, I stay close to the beaver release site but had not managed to see one yet. Just arrived at loch and heard a big splash from the other side and there was beaver swimming across the loch. I had a really good look at it but still a little too far away for a photo. Maybe another time if I get closer.

The light was lovely so while I was waiting to see if it would come any nearer I took some shots of the water lillies. I love the evening light on this shot
