Rain check

We're having rather impressive rain here.

I walked the dog a bit earlier than usual - knowing the rain was coming, and then had a wander around my new veg garden taking in all the new stuff that was happening. The runner beans started flowering today, some self-seeded cornflowers flowered today too. The first sunflower is coming out, and my plan for total world cosmos domination is looking more promising.

I spent the rest of the day inside trying to be a sensible home-keeping grown-up with responsibilities.
