Mending clothes

Rainy days are perfect for indoor activities like mending clothes and doing paperwork, and those were just those things I did today. Also, I did go for a swim in the morning, and in the evening we went to a great barbecue, together with all the nice people at my husband's work. So all in all this was a good day despite the rain outside ;)

Tomorrow we will be driving to Keflavík, but not with our caravan as we had planned. The Icelandic Met Office has predicted pretty bad weather (heavy rain and some strong gusts) and they strongly advice people not to drive with trailers, caravans or similar. So the caravan has to wait ... but I was looking so much forward to caravan vacation ... Well well one doesn't gamble with the forces of Nature, so let's just hope there will be nice weather again soon.
