Weaving...

Our loom bands order arrived today. I had left instructions that it shouldn't be opened util I was present and it was observed. However, the Es and Rooster were at me as soon as I laid my cutlery down on my plate after dinner to get the package open.

Well there was hyperventilation when the package was open. All the wee dividers were knocked down and the bands mixed through themselves. It was a traumatic moment for the Es, Rooster and myself. Nothing for it but to send Mr R for wine (for me) and get down to sorting those loom bands.

And almost two hours later we had this...oh it is a joy to behold.

So then we could get down to work. Es favoured using her peg method, I used my fingers and this is actually the Buncle making his first loom band on the actual loom. Es rattled off three I think...I did two...the Buncle did one.

Oh the endless design possibilities and we have charms too...

Thank goodness it's Friday, gosh I feel it's been such a long week. Wee fella pleased that I'm at home tomorrow and not at work. I am pleased I could switch off the 5am alarm..
