Let sleeping ducks lie.....

.....or is it just me?

So the garden planning came to an abrupt halt yesterday when we had a 3 hour power cut at the coast (there was one on Thursday too!), I was just doing the plan on't'puter when everything went black and a couple of hours worth of intermittent work went down the tubes.....y'know I should have stuck with a pencil and paper;-) Luckily I had the wind-up radio to hand for entertainment and it was cheese salad and a large glass of chilled (though not quite as much as I would have liked!) rosé for tea......

PS....Should you be wondering what it is, it's a close-up of one of the bracket thingies on the case of an old Singer sewing machine!
