Canna Lily
Some years ago I planted a Canna Lily in the corner of my back yard and over the intervening period it has spread quite dramatically.
I always appreciate the flower stems that it produces but the green and red leaf formation in some ways is just as interesting.
The Rhizomes formed by the plant need to be curbed on occasions as the have a tendency to take over everything around them.
They required a constant moist environment and I have sighted them often growing in water.
