The working man
In Dalton Street, in the centre of Barrow in Furness, there stands an evocative sculpture honouring the town's background in heavy industry, and particularly in ship building. The style of the sculpture, massive and rough in texture, seems to fit its subject particularly well. And monochrome seems, again, to be an appropriate photographic treatment.
