Grand Depart

The Grand Depart procession at Harrogate Road.

Lots of people turned out to cheer the riders on their way to the start of the race at Harewood House.

After champagne in the sun we headed into town for dinner at Kendall's and Alan Bennett's Talking Heads at the West Yorkshire Playhouse; A Chip in the Sugar, A Bed Among the Lentils and A Lady of Letters.
