Selfie at Sunset

Today has been amazing, temperatures reached 41 degrees and at one point I chose to rush back to the apartment and the air conditioning to do the housework rather than stay in the heat!

Later in the day, I walked down to the waters edge to watch the sunset, I took a couple of selflies which were, frankly, rubbish! But then I realised that because the sun was so strong the shadows were also pretty good.

I am hoping that it is not bad luck to have captured my shadow……….
