Graduation Day

I can't believe we made it! It's Graduation DAY!!!!!
Drew got here last night and it is getting to be a pretty full house. It took the entire morning to get everyone ready. My mom and I met up with Sherry for a pedicure early this morning and got home in time to eat lunch, get dressed, and hop in the cars. We actually left a little earlier than are anticipated departure time, but that was awesome! We made it to our destination at 2:30, right on time. Everyone was able to sit together and even made it to the correct side of the auditorium.
Right at 3:30 we all lined up and marched in to the beautiful University Auditorium. It is a very old, intricately designed building with a huge organ built in. Basically like a church out of Harry Potter. There was about 1.5 hours or speeches and then we all walked across, where halfway through they put on our masters hood and handed us our diploma. It was pretty surreal being up on the stage and the whole event went by so quickly.
Afterwards we all took pictures for awhile and then headed over to the Reitz Union for the dinner. Drew took Jenna, Abbey and Caden back to Jacksonville early because I didn't RSVP for so many people. Dinner was very yummy and they did the Superlatives and played the slideshow and video. During dinner we told Nonie, Boompa, and Aunt DeeDee that we were expecting. Everyone was shocked but happy, its just funny to see people's reactions, everyone is so different.
I was able to talk to a couple friends, but really everyone just kind of dispersed while I was busy trying to wrangle a bunch of slow pokes. I didn't really get to say goodbye to many people, I think it still hadn't sunk in yet that I was probably never going to see the majority of these people ever again in person. We spent so much time together over the last 2 years, but I guess this is what happens. We all grow up and move away! On to new adventures :)
All in all it was a great day and it made me appreciate just how much I am loved and supported by my family. They came from far and wide to celebrate with me and I know I couldn't have done these past two years without my husband and family. They are the best!
