Donald Byrd - Steppin' Into Tomorrow

Until the very last hours of today, there is so much to do before the lights go out. I'll sing songs of yesterday and walking into the future a new man (I would normally say person, but I have no need to be ashamed of my masculinity, it is part of what I am, amongst other things).

And whatever comes, I will endure, take, feel and filter into something different. Transience into all things surrounding and within. We all have the power inside ourselves to change the world while the world changes us. All my thoughts are rendered null because tomorrow is new. This work week ends, but the ongoing journey doesn't, wherever it may lead.
