Upper Gardner Street Saturday Market

This is one of many stalls of the Saturday Market in Upper Gardner St. It's an old traditional street market that has been established for over 90 years.

Open every Saturday of the year, the residents have to move their cars to make way for the stalls outside there houses. Nobody seems to mind as it's been part of the local colour for almost a century, although back at the start I doubt there were too many cars or parking problems in this part of town.

The stalls sell new and secondhand goods including antiques, books, jewellery, clothes, organic veg, cheese and pickles, cup cakes, patisserie etc. etc. etc.
