Waiting for Arthur!

We are supposed to be getting the tail end of Hurricane Arthur, sometime today or this evening! so we've tried to batten down the hatches here....back decks have all the chairs etc stowed away, i took all my potted plants into the studio for safe keeping!

Maude and i went down to Baddeck for some last minute shopping for tomorrows party! I thought i'd have a little 'meet and greet' for Jane because so many folks around her new home want to know ....'who bought Alistair's house?' ...... so for the second sunday in a row (this is so unusual for us!) we're having an afternoon gig!

It was pretty wild down there....choppy water, intermittent down pours, but we managed to do all that needed to be done and got home - now we're just waiting to see what happens...if anything! it has been downgraded to a 'tropical storm'......which might give some decent drama!

After spending some time out on the back porch, with the wind whipping the trees around - i decided this was a better image for today!
