Le Peloton

What an amazing day! The rain left, the sun shone and the crowds came out to see the greatest sporting event on the calendar. Skipton was heaving with thousands of people all wanting a glimpse of these sporting heroes. We met lots of lovely people, a couple of bikers who parked where we were staying and two other couples who we met whilst waiting for the Peloton to arrive. Perhaps the greatest disappointment was Mark Cavendish's crash just before the finish. Well done Yorkshire for a fantastic Grand depart, looking forward to the rest of Le Tour.
