Place of safety

When we moved into our house eight years ago there was an old bird nest under the guttering of our garage, I don't really know if it was actually made there or if it was placed there by the previous house owners but we have left it there as we see it as a miracle and beauty of nature.
This young Sparrow sits in it and I cant help wondering if its because he feels its a place of safety.
