Beware Of The Alligators!
Happy Independence Day!
Today was the last day of our Selleck Family Reunion. Sadly, Tom didn't make it!
One of my cousins arranged a day at a nearby park/farm owned by a family in his church. They rent out the park to families and it's perfect for a large group of 30+ adults and kids. Besides the small lake with an assortment of boats, kayaks, paddle boats and a slide, there were all sorts of other activities - games, trampolines, ping pong, a sand box. The little kids had rides on some ponies, investigated a real turtle, and had a ride in a barrel train. The adults joined in some activities and also enjoyed some relaxation on the many loungers and swings. A few of us went swimming!
Oh...and of course there was the food! We had all the normal 4th of July BBQ food - burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob (cooked on the grill), potato salad, beans and pie and home-made, hand-cranked ice-cream!
(Can you see the Alligator?)
A good time was had by all! Sad to say goodbye once again, but it was great to be included in the reunion! Until next time.....
