Holidaying At Home

...is hugely underrated. The weather was unusually scorchio today so we took a family boat trip to the Farne Islands. It's one of those things that I've been meaning to do since I moved up here but had never got round to. There were rumours of dolphins but they didn't put in an appearance for us. The birdlife and seals didn't disappoint though.
