Today's monsoon weather never arrived in Edinburgh. It was a nice ride in to work, the breeze pushing me in to work. I was carrying all my wet weather gear as heavy rain was forecast for the afternoon, and especially at the time I was due to cycle home. As it happened, I got home dry. It did rain, but nothing spectacular.

The cloud began to clear at about 7pm, and the sun came out. But the time it set, most of the clouds had gone, and any that were there were disappearing rapidly. I got the G1X camera out and used the ND filter to capture the moment the sun appeared to hit the distant Ochils. View it large to get the full effect.
