Sleepy sparrows

This little family of sparrows have been living in a nest above the front door to the house of the friends we've been staying with in Sutherland.
Today the fledglings left the nest for the last time. When we came back from the concert at 11 45pm tonight we found the whole family roosting on the electric cable that runs into the house above the door. They looked so cute all in a line roosting. In the picture, dad is on the top right with all the little fledglings in a row, some sleeping and some awake but drowsy.
