Arrival

We managed to leave home at 10 but almost three hours later, we were still only an hour away. The trip is between 6 and 7 hour long and most of it was in a pouring rain. We had 2 mattresses on top of Lisa's car and we had a hard time keeping them there until we reached an open store to buy straps - Canadian Tire in Campbellton.

We arrived at the cottage at around 6pm with enough daylight left to unpack and get settled. Last year we managed with an icebox but it was very inconvenient. So a few weeks ago I bought a propane fridge, there is no electricity at the cottage and we love it that way. Said fridge is due to be delivered tomorrow.
