Lovely Cuppa
Cath was not especially pleased to wake up this morning. Seeing how today was her (redacted on advice!) birthday. Predictably, a portrait was strictly out of the question.
Off to Solihull then, and while Cath was coiffeured with whatever goes on in such places, I fled to the muddy banks of the Blythe, the adjacent nature reserve, and imagined myself as a wildlife phonographer. The reserve is a haven for little winged critters. I met a cyclist gagging with a mouthful of the smaller variety. There were plenty of ringlet butterflies knocking around too, but keeping up with one to a point where it came to rest could drive you to drink. Back in town, I needed a lovely cuppa.
Later, all four of us went out to The Farm. I think, the first time we had collectively sat at a table since Christmas 2013.
