Cycled part of the TDF route with Hubs. Its v uppy and downy here you know! Had to get off a few times but what a fantastic place to be and the Yorkshire people have really opened their hearts and artistic talents - particularly in yellow, green and spot design and decor. There are yellow painted bikes everywhere- I love it. There is an air of real pride and excitement.
Took in the magnificent Bolten Abbey. Had afternoon tea. Walked to the v wild Strid River crossing. B took us for an evening walk in the moor up to the tarn and then to famous The Cow and Calf pub , where we ate loads... so hungry after all that cycling and enjoyed Yorkshire's finest ales. A v good day.
