Melittid Bee

I believe this is a Melettid bee, and that's about all I know about that, except there were several of these on my yellow flowers out front. And they are quite small and rather cute. The warm weather has really brought out the bees and other pollinating insects! Yay!

We've been invited to a barbecue at a friend's house tonight. I'm taking watermelon and grapes, with some kiwi and maybe some blueberries and cherries on top! A nice fruit platter will be refreshing.
