Hydrangea

A couple weeks ago we noticed this hydrangea was covered in pulvinaria (insects) that, when ignored, can ruin the plant. We had to remove a couple of branches, and removed the rest of the lice we could find by hand.

I have been keeping a close eye on it to see if they aren't returning. And I can only hope the plant can be saved, because I think it's gorgeous. Out of our three hydrangea bushes this is the prettiest.
