not the planned blip

We planned to go to Rye today to walk to Camber Castle. I thought it would be a fitting place for Emily's naming ceremony.

Rain stopped play. We went to Rye Harbour anyway. Lunch was bit of a fail as two cafes didn't take cards, cash only in one or cash and cheque in the other. Cheque! Seriously? The last one took cards and let dogs in but didn't actually have anything other than cake despite advertising lunches. Cream teas had to do :)

We didn't make out intended walk. We were distracted by a promotion at the Holiday Park so went to have a nosey around. The pups had a great time exploring caravans and the site. The salesman did his best to convince us to Buy Today despite two increasingly bored teens and 3 over enthusiastic puppies. We didn't sign our lives away of course :)
