Drop the pilot

The pilot cutter returns to Queenscliff after dropping the pilot on the container ship, just visible top right. The container ship is bound for Melbourne which sits on Port Philip Bay, a large natural harbour. The narrow strip of water at its mouth is known as the Rip. This was taken from the Queenscliff to Sorrento Ferry.
