To the Blue Toon today to watch a preseason friendly between Peterhead and Aberdeen.

The lad on the ball in this shot, No. 17, for Peterhead is a friend of my son. He was making his debut at this level today and did very well.

Aberdeen won the game 1-0 but the most entertaining moment was when Peterhead almost scored with an audacious lob over the keeper from the half way line which drifted just wide.
