Why Pink Wigs at the British Grand Prix?

British Racing Driver Jenson Button wore a pink crash helmet at the British Grand Prix today to commemorate his late father John who died in January this year (John was known for frequently wearing pink shirts).

Many fans at the circuit wore pink and/or specially printed t-shirts to show their support for Jenson on this emotional day as did the two girls in the photo.

Whilst I had taken many pictures of the race cars and the red arrows, I wanted to show a less obvious and moving aspect of the day.

I won't comment on the result of the event in case anyone has recorded it and hasn't yet seen it!
