New Toy

We went to pick up my new toy today, it took quite a while to get there, there was a lot of traffic and we got lost ( as usual). I don't even get wound up about getting lost anymore, I am so very used to it. Not my fault by the way.

Anyway, we finally found the place and there she was on the driveway. She's 57 years old, born in 57, and recently came here from Texas, she had two previous lady owners. The last one went by the name of Brenda Lee, we are going to do a bit of investigating.

Everything is original, a few bits will need careful love, attention and repairing , but I know it'll be done.
I did say to André that I hoped I wouldn't be taking my first drive in it in winter. He'd better get cracking.

We were told that we couldn't take it home today, the seller needed to tow a hot rod with it tomorrow. He will drop it off here over the next couple of days.

We took it for a quick spin, drives beautifully, sounds beautiful , we took a while because we got lost again, naturally.

Can't wait to get her here.
