Squirrel Crossing

A lovely sunny start to the day and then it clouded over in the afternoon with some sunny spells.

Another lazy start to the day but it was needed :) In the afternoon I picked up my niece Elise and went for a walk around Scalloway with Sammy dog. Then we nipped up to Vidlin for a run as I had to put a friends boy up to catch a ferry to Skerries. Back home again for a wee start before having to work again in the pub!

I often wonder what visitors must make of this Squirrel sign near Lunna, just north of Vidlin. With very few trees in Shetland, there are no Squirrels, a real shame I they are great wee animals :) This sign has been here for years but no idea who or why it's here, must be a story behind it somewhere :)
