Thistles touching the sky

Mr C and I had been planning to do something today but a leisurely morning spread into early afternoon. So an afternoon of sport on the TV and a lovely homemade biriani was the order of the day. It had been a busy week and the following week is just as busy so a relaxed day was lovely.
Rebecca and I went for an evening stroll over Wimbledon common and these thistles were taller than me but we didn't spot any wombles!
