As you do......

A fabulous day in the sun today at the Southport Half Marathon.

If I'm working at a race and I need to put a coat on then I reckon it's about right for the runners.

If, like today, I'm in a tee shirt, shorts and applying sun cream then it's fair to say it's hot for the runners.

The winner today ran the race in just over 73 minutes and retained the title he won last year.

These two were not at the front......
Nor in the middle.

They were actually the final two across the finish line.

Both were running for children's charities.
Both had very sensibly taken it easy in the hot conditions.

Both completed the race in their full costumes from start to finish.
