Umbellifer

Rising from lush earth,
Strong arms hold delicate lace,
Offered to the sky.

After yesterdays fun and frolics, feeling a bit out of sorts today.... time for a rest before climbing back on the hamster wheel tomorrow.

Managed a walk this morning and was taken by the perfect structure of this hogweed. I didn't even have to get down low to take the picture as it was towering above me ....

I can smell delicious food being prepared in the kitchen and am looking forward to food wine and general relaxation this evening ...
