Tour de Force..

I was one of some 2.5 million people who turned out as Yorkshire welcomed le Tour de France this weekend.

I managed to snap Marcus Kittel in the yellow jersey - worn by the race leader - as they left the village of Silsden en route to Sheffield.

I felt privileged to see the world's greatest athletes speed past me today. The same day that sporting gladiators Lewis Hamilton and Novac Djokovic also won their battles on UK soil.

I feel proud to be British!
