Staring Contest

We did not attend rugby training this morning so we had a lie in.......... oh...... it was so nice! I could really get used to a lazy start to Sunday mornings!

Stage 2 of The Tour de France was finishing in Sheffield today, so there was a big screen up in the City Centre. We went down town on the bus had some lunch, a few beers and generally sat around in the Peace gardens in the sunshine. Loads of people out and about in a really friendly atmosphere. The kids were well behaved and we genuinely had a good stress free time.

Heart FM had a gazebo out for the kids to play giant jenga and connect 4, but also had face painting. Sophie patiently stood in line to get her face painted like Elsa from Frozen. I captured this shot of her paint, but loved her expression!

Finished the day off by going to Pizza express. All in all quite an idilic day :) We were also on TV, with the helicopter capturing the crowd, although you cannot tell it was ourselves on the the TV in amongst everyone else!
