St Peters
I had to visit the surgery today for a blood test so seized the opportunity to drop down to Heysham village (Lancs UK) and take advantage of the gorgeous sunny day to photograph this 12th century church, St Peters, known locally as the Fisherman's church, sadly a tiny handful of fishermen left now but the church has been in continuous use since it was built. It stands on a cliff overlooking the huge expanse of Morecambe bay, in a most delightful spot.
