Another busy day - seems they all are these just now :-)

When I was removing the fuel tank on the spider a few weeks back I noticed the shield that protects the filler pipe underneath had seen better days.
Something made me look on eBay last week and what a coincidence - someone was selling a new shield, in the UK!
Now, to find most parts for the spider you need to look overseas (they were never officially sold in the UK) and even then parts are so rare these days - after all the car is 35 years old.
So what are the chances of that turning up?!
Amazingly it fitted straight out of the box this afternoon :-)

2 beach walks and a trip to Newhailes today so Barney's cream crakered and conked out in the kitchen :-)

The pic is of Max tackling yet another loom band creation - he's getting really good at these and has promised me a gold bracelet for a gold themed party next weekend :-)
