Olive tree

This olive tree with its beautiful twisted trunk is one of a row at the edge of a vineyard alongside the road near the village. We've noticed that more of the olive trees nearby are being pruned and cared for rather than neglected since the new olive mill opened in the village. It's more worthwhile to pick the olives when they don't have to be transported far to be milled.
