Marion was here to get Alan up this morning but the lazy teenager slept till 1/4 to 12!

Had a quick lunch then got in my new wheels for the longest journey so far, to my childhood village to hand over the CD of photographs of Eve to her gran, Alison. I am so very relieved that she is so happy with them.

After that I headed to Ele's to see how her kitchen makeover is coming along. It's looking fab! I had intended to blip it but the guys arrived to fit the new cooker hood and the resulting bum cleavage theirs not ours kind of spoiled the Homes and Gardens effect I was going for.

Had great fun driving the Tiguan. Such a difference to the rattly people carrier. I really do love it. Arrived home to find our road nose to tail with cars, buses, vans and huge lorries. An accident had closed the A9 so all the traffic was being diverted. David was supposed to be meeting our nephew Andrew to collect our new roof box but when he eventually got home from work, if he'd gone out again, it would have taken an hour to get to the top of our road, so collection of the roof box has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

Washing my vase this evening and I liked the water drop effect so that's what you're getting :-)))
